Description:

Features and properties: Cesium tungsten oxide a kind of non-stoichiometric functional compound with special structure of oxygen octahedron, with low resistivity and low temperature superconductivity. It has excellent near infrared (NIR) shielding performance, so it is often used as a heat shielding material in the development of thermal insulation products for buildings and automotive glass.

Nano Cesium Tungsten Bronze (Cs0.33WO3) has the best near-infrared absorption characteristics. As per studies, usually adding 2g/㎡of coating to achieve a transmittance of less than 10% at 950 nm and at the same time, it can achieve more than 70% transmittance at 550 nm (70% index is the basic index of most highly transparent films).

The film made by nano cesium tungsten oxide powder can shield near-infrared light with a wavelength greater than 1100 nm. After the Cs0.33WO3 film is coated on the glass surface, its near-infrared shielding performance and thermal insulation performance increase with the cesium content in the CsxWO3.

The glass coated with the CsxWO3 film compared with the glass without such coating, the thermal insulation performance is the best, and the thermal insulation temperature difference can reach to 13.5 ℃.

Therefore, it has more excellent near-infrared shielding performance, and is expected to be widely used as a smart window in the field of architectural and automotive glass insulation.

Storage Condition:

Cesium tungsten oxide (Cs0.33WO3) nanopowders should be stored in sealed, avoid light, dry place. Room temperature storage is ok.
